My name is John Van Horn and I am a Flash developer, general coding enthusiast, and internet user living in Dallas, Texas. I work for Yahoo! at the Streaming Center here in town where I develop and maintain video solutions and applications.
I have an education in Multimedia Design, and graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas. I would love to go back to school though and earn a degree in computer science. After graduating in 2005, I spent some time working on contract with Region 10 designing and developing Flash based e-learning programs. I also spent a year and a half working for interactive advertising agency Tribal DDB, where I worked on projects for clients like Pepsi, Frito Lay, American Airlines, Nokia and Product (RED).
